Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. I had the weirdest dream last night that felt like it lasted for HOURS!! :icondizzyplz: the people in my dream were almost my whole family, some random people who looked familiar to me, and a few online friends |D those online friends were as their fan characters in my dream, though XDD anyways, there were lots of dragons and birds....was I thinking about flying or something? Oo'' ugh, it was weird...even Jake Long from American Dragon was in my dream! XD then there were bees, and a bird that looked like the Pokemon Natu O.O

the dream was not only very fictional, but it also felt real! XD so I was in a magical world, woohoo! :dummy: yeah, I felt and heard it....really weird dream though, I woke up glad to be in my bed again ^^;

it was crazy too! there was a movie I got stuck in about these 2 teams or armies against each other! :ohnoes: one side called themselves something like "Gold Miners" or something while the other side called themselves "Spies" XDD but...it was full of bombs and mines and I nearly got killed! :iconscaredplz: then I got out of the movie saying it was awesome for some reason... T_T''

and after that I go on an adventure with Jake to help this girl dragon being threatened by her dad O_O y'know how I can hear things as well? uhh...in the dream, that dragon's dad was cursing at her...I didn't expect language to be in my dreams....^^; again, this dream was just totally wacked up and weird...I woke up FREAKED OUT!! :faint: so yeah....come to think of it, I had spaghetti and cheese pizza for my late dinner at 11pm last night....which that might've done it....:iconsighingplz:
