Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

I was so steaming mad today for some reason, and didn't really know what to do but pray a bit...|3 I don't really wanna say what's been ticking me off, but all I'll say is that my dad can say quite the sexist comments that repeat in my head a lot T_T'' yeesh, will this world ever be fair to both genders? T.T'' hard being a girl XP

so anyways, one thing that cheered me up was finding some funny Teen Titan videos...I miss that show! XD I even bookmarked one vid, it was too funny not to save for future watching

then, just tonight when I went to eat some pineapple, my mom was in the kitchen watching me and my dad was also there but...in his own little world XD first off, the pineapple slices are larger than my hand, so they're quite filling...and yummy!

so I leave the pineapple whole, I don't care to "cut it up"...then I stab my fork into the whole thing, and bite out of it...my mom saw it and yelled at me O.O'' I guess I don't have the best manners...

it was still interesting, I feel like making a comic about it...and every time I eat like that in front of my mom, she always yells at me telling me to cut up the food THEN eat it! XD as of tonight though, she blamed my poor dad for teaching me the manners, but he said he also cuts up his food so that was a no...and I truly see him cut up his food a lot I guess, so who knows...then my mom says to/in front of me, for the first time, that the way I eat must be some sort of guy thing...and that's interesting 'cause I'm a tomboy, so I picked up a "guy's way of eating" as a trait? XDDD totally a new tomboy thing there |D

you guys lemme know if you want the comic posted up as scraps or not, or lemme know if you DON'T want it on DA at all...I'm making it anyways, for the fun XDD *is still laughing like crazy from what happened tonight*

heh, cool |3 my mom's sorta picky/paranoid around me, and I don't think she's getting used to me being a tomboy while my other sisters are girly...XD

lol XD with my older sis living here at home again, I've realized we eat the same amount of food pretty much (but I'm smaller than her Oo) and there are times one of us actually has left overs and lucky to be able to share the food...then, there are times we fight over a last piece of food like pizza XDD

In my family I am the oldest sister, so I don't really know what having an older sibling is truly like, but I get the basic idea.
Also, because i'm the oldest, I have to deal with my parent's (mostly my dad's) adjustments to having a teenager. xD
